Mountain Goat hunting in Idaho can produce Boone and Crocket or Pope & Young goats. Goats are a wonderful animal to hunt because they inhabit terrain that you would think is not hospitable to any living creature. They like to climb around on rocky slopes and you usually do not catch them very far away from a cliff or rock face of some kind. Goat tags are also fairly tough to come by but if you are lucky enough to get one, the hunting will be great.
